Beautiful Scars

Yesterday on the radio I heard about Merry Clayton losing her legs in a car accident 7 years ago. She just released a new album. The song called "Beautiful Scars" is wonderful. Scars (physical or emotional) are precious once we get beyond the pain. I’m not saying it’s easy; it is not. But sometimes we can be grateful in the midst of hardship. When we aspire to meet the storms of life with grace and grit, it helps those around us and it can help us get through the tough times
