Blondes on Tamoxifen???

Hey there. I have been on Tamoxifen since 2015 and will be on it until at least 2025. I had a ton of side effects in the beginning but now I just have two super-annoying ones.

1) It's holding a seemingly immovable 20 pounds on me. Boo!

BUT -

2) My roots on it have progressively gotten darker and darker and darker. My hair dresser is a saint - we have had to adapt over the years to keep my light blonde hair light blonde.

Similar to when ladies go on chemo and when their hair grows back it's always darker and coarser. Mine is doing that to my growth, though I never lost my hair in the first place.

Anyone else having this?? My roots went from medium dark blonde to black since on Tamoxifen.

Amy - My hair did not grow back darker & coarser after chemo. Go figure.

Any kind f meds aside, many blondes find their hair darkens as they age.
