Hematomas after removal of infected tissue e pander

Options

I’m new to this site. I am 60 years old. I was diagnosed in 2019 with er+ stage 2 breast cancer. I had a left mastectomy with placement of tissue expander in June started chemo in July.

The tissue expander was uncomfortable from the start but by October I was in pain. An infection developed around the TE with no outward symptoms other than swelling. The PS put me on an antibiotic for two weeks and then decided she would have to remove the TE with another dose of antibiotics that followed.

In the past three months I have had three different drainage devices (in addition the instability if the pocket put off my radiation treatment). The last drain was removed January 17th 2020. Within 4 days I felt the fluid accumulating again. I contacted the PS on Monday and received an appointment for Tuesday the 22nd. The PS said it was just fatty tissue and I shouldn’t be concerned and she would see me in another week.

The 29th of January I Saw the PS again. The accumulation of fluid was obvious to me but she stated that 10cc of fluid was nothing to be concerned about.

The tenth of February I saw a different PS who not only removed 40+cc of fluid but also placed me on an antibiotic.

I am so past frustrated and don’t know where to turn or who to turn to. And why won’t this pocket heal up? And why did the first PS tell me I could do radiation? And why did she tell me it would be 12 months after radiation before we could even consider reconstruction?

I’m in a small town and our doctors are predominantly under 40 and act like I don’t have any understanding of my body, they also don’t want to deal with you after you’ve confronted their contradiction of statements from visit to visit? Needless to say I’ve moved into radiation treatment and will return to the Second PS for another aspiration.

I would welcome any positive input.

Spookitties hematoma won’t heal. Pls help
