Green tea extract--topically?

I've been diagnosed for a second time with breast cancer--a "garden variety," friendlier form this time that won't require chemo. I have a lumpectomy scheduled for Thursday and then on to radiation. I remember for my 2017 stint of five weeks of radiation I did something topically with green tea. I wasn't a big believer--used lotions, too--but my skin is so good you can't even tell I had radiation. In fact, it's so good that they're totally able to do a small reduction and lift of that side to match my new lumpectomy side. Any green tea topical users? Any info I should know--since I don't remember?
