I wanted to drop in to the Triple Negative board to introduce myself...

I'm 32 yrs old, momma to a beautiful 9 year old girl and recently diagnosed with Stage 2 triple negative breast cancer. Since my diagnosis last week, everything has moved so quickly and I am having no time to process anything or catch my breath. My emotions are everywhere...one minute I'm angry and then sad and then I'm okay...but it hits me out of nowhere at times.

This cancer is life altering and I'm scared of all the changes. I had port surgery today and I start chemo next week and I don't feel ready for any of it...can anyone relate? I don't know many people who are young and dealing with a cancer diagnosis so I am feeling quite isolated even though people are trying to be supportive. I just need some hope and positive vibes to help me get through this season of life. If anyone wants to chat feel free to message me. Much love to all.

Hello! I am 34yrs old-mother to a 7yr old daughter and also on this journey with you! I have triple negative breast cancer as well and just finished 4 rounds of AC chemo-12 rounds of taxol to come! Neoadjutive therapy meaning surgery and radiation to follow after chemo! I had surgery today to have an infected port removed and just taking this one day at a time! I am finding so many young women like us battling this B**** of a disease but just know we are here with you and you will get through this🙏❤️ I find these threads so motivational and insipiring and a place to vent when no one around me can possibly understand what I am feeling-but grateful to have found so many BC survivors and warriors to lean on!!!

Hi there, I'm new to posting and have just registered tonight. This is my first post and I just want to reassure you. I got so much advice and support from reading other ladies' posts when I was first diagnosed. They don't even know how much. i think it saved me. I was afraid to post until now, just wasn't ready. More likely I was just so scared. But I'm still here and Id lie to give something back. Ive gone through every emotion you're going through and know how bloody scary it is. Look, it's horrible and gonna be horrible fr a while but you're gonna get through it. You will X

I'm one year out, and I completely understand how you feel. I have 8 year old twins and I didn't know how I was going to get through this whole taking care of them. Just know that chemo is doable. I did not get sick once. I did AC and taxol. Feel free to PM anytime if you feel like chatting. It does feel like a roller coaster of emotions, but I think getting through those is probably the hardest part. You are never alone. Wishing you a smooth road ahead.

I totally get it - when diagnosed I had surgery first and had the port placed my mind was everywhere to the point that I didn’t even really know what it was for. I called the nurse post surgery asking what it was....she prob thought I was crazy. The early days are tough but you will get through treatment. I had just given birth to my second when diagnosed. Keep us updated
