More biopsies

I went in today for my radio implant, and they said there were a couple of areas they were concerned about, and asked to do 2 biopsies on them. So I let them. (not the same place that did the other biopsy)

And I rescheduled my MRI for Monday.

Feeling a little shook up right about now....

hang in there! It’s all par for the course, they just want to make sure nothing is hiding and they are on high alert with the LCIS.An MRI should be helpful as it is the best tool currently available.. though what is a radio implant?

I guess they call it a seed locator. They use it to zero in on the area that needs to be removed. They said if these additional areas need to be removed, they will insert wires, I guess the seed works best for one spot.

I had the MRI scheduled for tomorrow but they said every method sees different things and really believed I should get these additional spots biopsied.

I am so much more sore than I was at the first biopsy and mentally set back to the beginning of the process.

My MRI is next Friday, not Monday. And surgery is still set for the following Wednesday though I suppose that may change. Hopefully biopsy results Monday.

try not to stress too much over the weekend, more than likely it’s absolutely nothing. It’s easy to go down the google rabbit hole. I’m sure you will hear back soon. In the meantime try to keep yourself busy. Sending a big hug for you

I've been told it's most likely nothing for every single thing since I got the first mammogram callback last month!

Fingers crossed for sure. I've given up on google anyway.

Good news this week is that I passed my heart test for the surgery!
