Mammogram and Ultrasound tomorrow for rash IBC

Hello, I'm new here. I've been making myself sick with worry over my breast. About a week ago my right breast got a rash out of nowhere. It's not from the bra, rubbing or anything I can attribute to.

Google led me to IBC, so I saw my doc today. She was concerned by the inflammatory response in the rash and is sending me for a mammogram and ultrasound. I was able to get in to acancelled appt for tomorrow

I'm so scared. I have two young kids. I keep thinking what if.....

I flop between the rash doesn't look that bad to convincing myself I probably have it. As you can see I have it two spots her words were we want to make sure there are no lesions beneath the rash

I had a mammo and ultrasound today and all looked good. I will have a punch biopsy of the skin next week. Thanks for the support

I won’t rest easy until I have the biopsy next week and the results but I am hoping for the best

Has the rash on your breast gotten worse every day since it showed up? Does the skin feel thick where the rash is?

no it hasn’t to my eyes. I don’t know if the skin feels thick. I’ve tried to pinch it and can’t tell.

good to know! God is so good. I’m going through something similar. Normal 3D mammo and ultrasound, but the little rashes on my right breast are worrying. They’ve been pretty stable for the past 3 weeks, just, my breast itches. Going to see a breast surgeon
