Abnormal mammogram screening

My results were abnormal with the following: focal asymmetry in the mid outer RIGHT breast middle third centered approximately 6 cm behind the nipple.

Has anyone had a similar follow up mammogram for this reason?

    Focal asymmetry is a very common finding. While it could represent the presence of breast cancer, most of the time it's nothing at all, and the patient is given the "all clear" after a diagnostic mammogram (a magnified view) and ultrasound.

    If you look through the "Not Diagnosed" forum, you will find lots of women who've come here with this concern
