hello ladies,

because this is such an active forum, i would like to ask some questions. Maybe someone has the same experiences? I have a history of fibrocystic breast and fibrosis (removed with excisional biopsy), also 1 fibroadenoma.

I recently felt a small (2 or 3 mm) hardish round lump in my left breast. I do BSE but this is so small i could have missed it. I am a worrier so i think it might me breastcancer. But on the other hand, if i play with it for a bit, is become softer and almost non exsistent.

Because of my history of other benign stuff, my rational thought is that it might be fibrosis again or maybe adenosis?

Anyone have any experience with a hardish, small, failry meallable lump? And could this be visible by ultrasound?

Thanks you so much for the replies!!

Unicorn1982, we're sorry you have to be here and worried, but wanted to send you a warm welcome to Breastcancer.org!

It is known that the vast majority of breast lumps turn out to be benign, specially in young women. Anyway, we definitely recommend that you see your doctor, it's always better to get any health worries or abnormalities checked out as soon as possible. Until other members post with their experiences, you might like to check out our page on What Mammograms Show: Calcifications, Cysts, Fibroadenomas, that describes some of the benign results that can come from testing. We hope this helps!

    Wishing you the best!
