Axillary Node Dissection

Hi. Can someone provide some insight into the need for a full axillary dissection if I’m getting radiation regardless? I have level iii involvement in the nodes and they are not removing those, so I am confused as to why remove the others and have secondary symptoms possibly if radiation is occurring anyway. Thanks!
