Need for hormon therapy?

I had hysterectomy and oophorectomy removed June last year , followed by discovering a tumor 9m*5m through momogram.Operated in September successfully.I took tamoxifen first ,could not bear its side effects and then litrezole with awkward side effects.Estradiol level less than 5..Why do I need hormon meds?

Even though you have had an oopherectomy, your body still produces estrogen through the adrenal glands is what I have been told. This estrogen could possibly feed any cancer cells that may be circulating in your body, although possibly dormant at this time.

I had a complete hysterectomy in 2008, and my breast cancer in 2018 was very high in estrogen. Some of us just produce a lot of estrogen.
