Djmammo or other experts,

I have no family history of breast cancer and no palpable lumps on careful OB-GYN exam for years.

At age 37, I had my first mammogram, followed by last one in end of 2017.

The report from the last one in the end of 2017 showed:

"The breasts are heterogeneously dense, which may obscure small masses.

Follow-up examination was performed for the calcifications seen in 10/2016. On the present examination, there are a few groups of stable coarse heterogeneous and round calcifications in both breast:
RIGHT
upper outer quadrant middle depth, 2 mm
3 o'clock region anterior depth, 4 mm

These have been stable on magnification views for 1 year.

LEFT 9 o'clock middle depth, 5 mm"

I was given a BIRADS3 on both studies.

I was told to follow up by end of 2018, but due to pregnancy and lactation, I am going in for follow up now, about 1 year too late.

How concerned should I be? Should I have biopsied these findings? The option of needing a biopsy was never mentioned by the radiologist nor my OB-GYN, and I even spoke with the radiologist a few weeks ago who said he is not worried and would just follow up with imaging for now.

Please advise.

Thank you.
