Long story short. In 2007, when I was 17 I found a lump on my breast. It was removed and confirm to be a Fibroadenoma. But in the two weeks it took to remove it had grown to the size of a grape.

For years had follow up and they found two Fibroadenomas on the left breast. Same as before. In 2011 I had mastitis even if I wasn’t pregnant or breastfeeding.

Years passed had no health insurance. Had some breast pain but thought nothing of it. Last year I felt a lump on right breast and finally having insurance went to a local clinic which gave me referral for ultrasound. They found three lumps plus the ones I already had on the left. They biopsy one on the right since they Thought it was suspicious. It was benign.

I started to get awful breast pain. It has come to a point where I can’t move that much, move my arms or even stretch. I used to go to the gym 5 times a week and had to stop. Went to doctor for my follow up and she sent me to ultrasound and surgeon.

My ultrasound lasted two hours and they found 11 masses in total. The radiologist said he suggested 6 month follow up even if there was 4 masses that he was concern about. Said there was no point in doing biopsy because of how many they are.

I just want to go prepared for my appointment and wanted to know what type of questions I should be asking. The pain really is unbearable.

Any suggestions for the appointment will be greatly appreciated.

Btw, I also got a rash months ago and hasn’t gone. I told doctor and she gave me a cream which only gave me an allergic reaction. Had to go to ER. I still have rash.

Amanlee, What appt are you going to? Surgeon? If you have fibrocystic changes, try cutting out caffeine and take Vit E supplements, with Dr's approval. They may want to do an MRI, if they think that would be helpful. Get copies of all of your medical reports and records. Take a trusted person with you, if you need help with note taking, etc. If you feel the need to get another opinion, don't hesitate to get one. Best wishes:)
