PMS breast swelling while healing from surgery

Has anyone else had increased pain and/or compromised healing due to PMS breast swelling after surgery?

Two weeks after I had my core biopsy, I developed PMS breast swelling, which gave me quite a bit of pain in my breast despite that I'd had little pain in the intervening weeks. Right now, my breast is still sore from the excisional biopsy (2.5 weeks ago), and I'm getting increasingly concerned about the pain I may experience when I develop PMS breast swelling. Has anyone taken measures to delay their period after having surgery? Is there any way to reduce PMS breast swelling?
