I had my bi lateral mastectomy on July 15th and because my surgeon is such a busy man I did not have the reconstruction until November 15. With my original surgery I had two skin break downs underneath both breasts and struggled to get those healed.

But my question is they started out the same place and one is now lower than the other, in a bra you can't tell but naked I can really see it. One is much tighter than the other, I'm not sure if this is normal and they fall some and the other will fall. He used Natrelle Inspira silicone implants.

Any information on this would be great, thank you in advance

robin - were your implants done by a plastic surgeon? Usually a BS does the mastectomy then a PS steps in. Have you been back to see him or her? What did they say?

Did you have other treatment like rads? That would make the radiated side higher & tighter.

You might try the "exchange" thread to read about other's results. Conventional wisdom says implants will change over a period of time up to or past six MONTHS. But if you're concerned, I would make an appointment with the PS
