Dx July with clinical stage IIIC multiflocal IDC. Had dose dense AC July-Sept. MRI following AC showed "near complete imaging resolution" of breast tumors and significant decrease in size of multiple lymph nodes. Completed taxol/carboplaten 12/31/19. Follow up MRI 1/10/20, showed no evidence of in lymph nodes. However breast tumors GREW to 9mm and 10x8x10mm. Scheduled for PET scan in a couple of days. Meeting with surgeons next week. Any one else have cancer growth during chemo?

july - Sorry you find yourself here. If you go to "my profile", you can list info about your diagnosis & treatment to date. Add add some info that might make it easier for people to answer your question. Are you ER or PR positive? Are you HER2+? Have you had any genetic test done?

Surgery was 2/7/20. I had neoadjuvant chemo. Received quick surg path report over phone. Two tumors IDC 12mm and 18mm. 20 axilllary lymph nodes removed. 4 out of 20 with active cancer. Lymphovascular invasion. I see all my doctors today to receive further explanation and the next treatment plan.
