sister is negative for Braca, can I be positive?

My sister has breast cancer, and tested negative for the Braca gene mutation. Can I be positive for Braca 1/2 if she was negative? Father was Askenazi Jewish. Thanks.

Yes, you can. Each child (including males) has a 50% chance of inheriting the mutation
