Budwig FOCC
I have not been on this board in many, many years. At least 10 years plus.
I originally came to this board in 2006. I had been diagnosed with a 2cm IDC. I chose surgery and nothing else. Which was a very hard choice, back in the day.
In 2009, I was diagnosed with another breast cancer. But the biopsy came up, negative. Then, they wanted to do another MRI Biopsy.
I refused. I didn't have breast cancer.
The very next day I went on the Budwig FOCC; the Flaxseed Oil and Cottage Cheese. And I have taken this every day for the past 11 years.
And I feel … great. And I have no "breast cancer."

Hi Leia,
I'm 42, just diagnosed 1/26 with IDC, less than 2cm tumor, slow growth. Can you in detail explain how you incorporate the Budwig FOCC diet into your daily routine. I would like to do this but would like more information from someone actually doing it, I've read the information provided online.
Anything else you do? Thanks for your help!
Best,
Natalie

Hi Natalie,
What I am doing is putting the FOCC in my daily smoothie. As I'm sure you've read, the ratio is 4 TBSP of Cottage Cheese/Quark to 2 TBSP of Flaxseed oil. I mix this thoroughly with a stick blender until no sign of the Flaxseed oil remains. Then, I add 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon. Then with my juicer in Smoothie mode, I add this mixture to about 2 cups of various types of berries, 1/2 which are frozen and 1/2 which are not. I generally buy my berries from Costco they have lots of interesting types of organic blends. Or in the summer, I use fresh berries as they are available.
And that is it. Not only do I get the benefits of the FOCC the berries provide other healthful attributes and fiber. Plus it tastes good!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Here's hoping for a good outcome in your breast cancer struggle!

love it! Amazing! I do smoothies too (with berries) and looks like a perfect addition to it. Do you think I have to do cottage cheese or can I do organic raw yogurt?
What Flaxseed oil do you buy? Thank you! XO
Also, did you do surgery? with the way things are now, I may not be able to get in so hoping I can shrink the tumor!

You do have to use cottage cheese, or ideally Quark. It has something to do with the protein in the cheese that binds with the properties of the flaxseed oil to provide the beneficial effect. Yogurt doesn't have that.
I use Barleans Flax Seed oil. It's great. You can get it any health type store but I order it directly from Barleans. They sell directly to the consumer. Plus, I usually order 3 32oz containers of it a time since I go through it so quickly.
I did do surgery. Surgery made sense to me. You have a cancer, cut it out. It was just all of the other treatments that I could not see any value in.
Yes, yours is considered "elective" so not surprising that it would be delayed. I would not want to be in a hospital in any event, right now. But yes, I've ready many stories of the FOCC shrinking tumors. Certainly worth a shot. Plus, at least in my case, I just felt so much better after I started. Not immediately, of course, but over time. It really did change my life.
