I took LiveStrong and loved it. There I learned how to use a dozen weight training machines and I now have an exercise program for resistance / strength training. I also have been walking or doing the elliptical.

I travel out of the country for a couple of weeks a few times a year. I have resistance bands coming, but need to find a well-balanced exercise program to follow with them. I think I will try to do one personal training session with my LiveStrong coach if she can help me come up with a program.

I have NOT been doing a good job with flexibility or cool-down. With the group, I did what they did and it helped. However, on my own, I don't do it. Partly because we did different stretches different times. I need a list of stretches and what areas they help. I will probably ask my coach to assist with this also.

I ran across the "Strength & Courage" site this morning and am wondering if anyone here has gotten the DVD? Does it provide exercise routines for flexibility or using resistance bands?

Are there youtube shows, websites or books that have been very helpful to you in developing flexibility and / or resistance / strength training routines?

Thanks!

I use Cathe Friedrich's workout videos (ripped to my laptop). She also has streaming sessions for a monthly fee. If you prefer DVDs, you can find them on Amazon.

Right now I'm in the Philippines and use her butt workout and resistance/firewalker bands plus a core slider for lower body work.
