Breast Cancer playing out on tv

Not a resource but if anyone is interested, Young and Restless has Sharon dxd with stage 2 her 2 negative bc. Story will go through Oct. So far the options she has been given is appropriate. I'm watching to see how detailed it gets.

I never watch the soaps, but on Chicago Med this season one of the nurses has breast cancer. She just finished chemo, and she is doing radiation right now. She did not want anybody in the er to know about it, and so she went to a different hospital to have chemo, and wore a wig. They eventually found out. I think she found out she had it after she donated a kidney to somebody and it was in the kidney she donated.

Last night on Chicago Med there was a plane that crashed at O'Hare and the er had to treat a lot of the victims. One of the victims was burned beyond recognition, and it was assumed that it was a neurosurgeon at the hospital that was supposed to have that sear in the plane. The wife asked them to take him off life support, even though they tried to talk her out of it. Right after they took him off life support, one of the doctors went outside to try to deal with it, and the neurosurgeon showed up at the entrance of the hospital. They had asked for volunteers to vacate their seats because they were overbooked, and he took them up on it. The er doctor immediately went into the er and started resuscitating the guy they had just taken off life support.
