Hello all. Just some background. I am 38 with two kids (ages 3 and 6). Was off and on oral birth control last few months and recently stopped about a month ago. I get imaging every six months because of my mom’s history of breast cancer at age 47. I am 8 months overdue and my last test was MRI 12 months ago (all clear except previously biopsied Fibroadenoma). I have been having a strange sensation in my left breast that feels like an intermittent pulsation and poke. I couldn’t tell where it is coming from specifically but it seems now to be mostly behind the nipple. I saw a breast cancer specialist last week for an exam and get my imaging ordered. She told me she did not feel anything concerning on a very thorough breast and lymph node exam. I told her about the sensation I was having but she did not seemed concerned. There are also occasional electrical shock feelings through that breast but seems to be related more to my menstrual cyc. This twing seems unrelated to the cycle. I go for my mammogram and ultrasound tomorrow. I am just scared to go since i could get life-changing news. Justlooking for some support

Hopefully it's nothing but if there is something going on, the earlier you know the better. No one likes bad new, I completely understand that but sometimes we have do things we don't want to do.
