I have really sensitive skin, but I liked the Kinesio tape & it worked for me. I have used swell spots & they work. They can be ordered separately. How about a compression T-shirt? Below are three references. You can search under compression T-shirt in the lymphadema forum and probably find more.

RE: WearEase. They are great to deal with if you call them. Here's an old reference from the LE thread: I think some women here report being quite happy with the WearEase compression tee, https://www.wearease.com/collections/compression-therapy/products/compression-t?variant=17218205155371

RE: UnderArmor - another old reference from an LE thread: Get a men's under armour compression tee a size or two smaller. You can wear inside out if the seams bug you,but actually there ok on me and I have sensitive skin. They work pretty good. Under 40 bucks I think. Must be men's because women's sleeves are cap and not long enough like men's. It's called their men's heatgear tactical compression tee online. It should have no net like insets, some of theirs do. Just four way stretch. just ask for compression.

RE: Go Shirt - another old 2015 reference - Ask for Margaret and tell her the BCO shirt if you can't find it. Some of us have tried a new shirt that you can find here: http://www.gotravelwear.com/shop (look at bottom right of the page; this product is new, and they don't have a photo of it on a model yet). Six or seven women in this forum tested the shirt for design, size, and compression fit vis-a-vis LE needs. I know that one person was not happy with the fabric and hopes for a deeper neckline and shorter sleeves, to better hide under other wardrobe items. But most liked the shirt and its fit.

Thank you so much for the information. I have ordered from gotravels and UnderAmor.

My breast has most of the lymph fluid in it. It is the texture of play dough and red and hot and heavy. I just saw my radiation oncologist and he made the dx.

trying to get an appointment for PT but my cancer center is located in the hospital that is the hub for treating Covid19.

I am bummed. I only had 2 sentinel nodes removed. They were negative. The lumpectomy surgery and radiation went pretty well. Lymphedema is an unexpected and unwelcome dx. I’ll adjust in time. But I am bothered tonight.

    SeattleSuns,

I'm sorry that you had to go through this. I had 2 nodes removed as well and lymphedema came unexpectedly. It was under control until I had nipple reconstruction and breast lymphedema kicked in, I have been trying to manage it with exercises and using a flexitouch pneumatic pump but it's not enough. I'm in pain right now and I had to call for appointment. I'll be seeing a LE Therapist on Friday.

Most people were not prepared for lymphedema when it showed up. We will definitely adjust and manage it well. Hope you feel better.

SeattleSunshine, "hot and red" sure doesn't sound good. Did your radiation onc mention the possibility of cellulitis, a kind of infection that is a complication of lymphedema? Breast lymphedema can result in a pinkish color of the skin (due to the underlying inflammation) and swelling, but "hot and red" aren't symptoms of breast lymphedema. Here's more information about cellulitis:

Cellulitis is a serious emergency, so do seek further help quickly if you suspect it.

And please do keep us posted! Gentle hugs,
    Binney
