Tender spot under left arm (cancer side)

Options

For the past few weeks I've had this spot under my left arm sort of on my side that has been tender to the touch. I had a 3 month f/u appointment on 12/3 and told my dr about it. She felt of it and thinks it could be either scar tissue or cording from where they removed 3 nodes during my DMX in May 2018 and suggested I let an occupational therapist evaluate it so if it's scar tissue or cording they can treat it. I decided to wait until after the holidays to see the therapist. Fast forward to the past week and I've had shooting burning sporadic pain there. Should I be concerned? I did leave a message this morning for the dr to see what they recommend but figure they are closed for the holiday already. I thought I'd ask you great folks too as I figure someone has dealt with something similar.

Thanks in advance!!

You might want to post this in the surgery forum. There may be others there with similar issues.

I have definitely had cording issues. I do see someone trained in breast cancer specific PT anmd it has helped. Make sure the person you see has specific training for breast cancer, or it could make things worse.
