CT shows pulmonary nodule - Doc just called

My doctor ordered a CT scan because I’ve had pain in subclavicle lymph node for two months and pain in armpit for 2 years. I had the scan yesterday. I had one in June this year after a 5 month cough but it was clear. My doctor called today to say a 1.5cm nodule found in lung not seen 6 months ago and she recommends I call my oncologist Thursday after the holiday. Should I be worried? I’m 11 years out from chemo for her2+ IDC and ILC, both er+\pr+.

    My sister had a watch and wait scan for 3 years with 3 spots on her lungs (former smoker). The spots never did anything so they stopped scanning. This is pre her ALH (incidental finding doing breast reduction).

    I hope this turns into nothing. I'm so very sorry you are dealing with this.

    I had that after my initial diagnosis ten years ago. Those were under 1 cm. This is a new one since June.
