hair regrowth on taxol

I'm on a dose dense ACT regime and have been cold capping with some success. I have bald patches on the front and top of my head, so I still have to wear a cap. Ive heard that regrowth starts to happen on taxol. I just wrapped up my 1st of 4 rounds and will finish chemo at the end of Jan. Can anyone share their experience of hair regrowth on taxol? Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. xx

vmv - I had dose dense A/C and then weekly Taxol. My hair did not grow back until about 2 months after the end of Taxol. It came back all over my head but much thinner both as to density and individual hairs. After a year on Letrozole, my hair started shedding. I stopped Letrozole but my hair is very thin and has bald spots that I have to "comb over".l I can only envy those on this board whose hair begins to grow back during Taxol and goes on to be thick and beautiful. For what its worth I was 72 when I went through chemo. My unproven theory is that the Letrozole made me like a 90-year old woman and triggered some latent pattern baldness. As long as I can manage without a wig I am good. I take it day by day. Polly
