Anyone with Kidney Disease do Chemo?

I'm a long-term TNBC Survivor (stage 3C ladies, 11 years!), and now I mentor other women with TNBC. Have a new gal newly diagnosed with TNBC who has stage 3 kidney disease. She is concerned about not being able to be treated (chemo) due to her kidney disease. Her oncologist and nephrologist have talked, but she hasn't been able to touch base with either since then and is worrying, and won't get answers til January when she next sees the doctor (her surgery is first - in January). Any success stories I can share with her to ease her mind between now and then?

I don't have success stories, but I do work in the medical field. I doubt they would say no chemo because of early CKD. Especially tnbc. Probably will just adjust the chemo dose as needed (if needed), pick the least nephrotoxic drug if there are such choices. I can see why she's worried, but I bet they can figure something out.

Hopefully some specific examples will come along to make her feel better!!!
