I noticed grey discharge from one particular duct on my nipple for a few weeks. After seeing my PCP she recommended a mammogram. Immediately After my mammo they sent me for an ultrasound, they said my breast tissue was dense and difficult to assess. During my US they noted “a solitary dilated duct, with debris vs mass. BIRAD 4” and recommended a core biopsy. I had my biopsy today after the first pass of the needle the radiologist noted that the duct had collapsed. He stated this was likely a good sign- though he was unwilling to give me any statistics. So my question to all of you is, did anyone else have a duct collapse on biopsy? And what was the outcome for you? thanks for any insight you all hav
