My cancer is back for the third time. This time is has spread to bones. Right now I’m doing okay. I just want to keep working and living my life. BUT!! I think a tumor is pressing on a nerve or lymph node under my left arm. I am having pain, numbness from my underarm to my fingertips. I am losing the use of my left hand. I have very bad pain, in the palm of my hand, I can’t bend my index finger and it’s moving to my middle finger. It hurts to touch the skin of my left hand, I can’t feel anything with my thumb, index finger. It feels like a band from my underarm to my elbow, to my palm, to my fingertips. Please help. How can this be fixed? I need to stop the pressure on my never so I can keep working

None of your stats or info is showing Theretha. Have you talked to your oncologist about this?

I have a tumor tangled in my brachial nerves that caused me to lose use of my arm for several months, and regularly acts up and causes problems (no feeling in my fingers right now but we've been able to keep it from getting worse this time). When was the last time you had a PET/CT scan? A scan will show if you have a tumor causing the problem. Depending on if you have already had radiation to the area, it can usually be treated locally with rads or systemically with chemo.

Hope you find out what is causing the problem. I understand completely how painful it can be.
