Hi ladies

I'm currently undergoing radiation on my right femur. Today was 3rd day. I've been in serious pain for awhile now. I must use a walker to get around. After my second radiation (yesterday), I experienced the worst pain ever in my leg. I've been reading about pain flare from radiation. It sounds exactly like what I'm experiencing. Has anyone had pain flare during radiation treatment? Thank you sisters

    Hi Northtexas, I didn't experience it with either of my rads to femur (both sides), but the RO said it was a real thing. They prescribed oxycodone on Day 1 in case I experienced it. That would be serious pain in my book.

    They also said that it would only last a couple of days. I can't speak to that either way but I hope it goes away soon. . .
