Diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer 3 years ago with no radiation or chemo. Had breast expander on right breast after mastectomy but had skin thinning as result of 3 failed lumpectomies. Had issue with thinning of skin and had to have expander taken out and replaced after one month. When it was time for silicone implant had left breast reduced to match implant right side without nipple. I was a 38 DD and now am a 36C. I stopped the injections because the stretching was was very painful and choose to go down in size. Since that time I have major scar tissue and the implant side looks dented in and is sometimes painful. My breast surgery looks awful and my emotional and self esteem is little to be desired after the results. I don't feel attractive and my body confidence has caused friction in my 7 year relationship. I'm a wreck. I need to have reconstruction surgery for botched surgery for larger and even breast (38DD) with nipple sparing. Is this possible? Looking for qualified surgeons in the Cleveland Ohio area.

Fanta - you should make appointments with at least two plastic surgeons to discuss your concerns. My guess is it will be difficult to go back to a 38DD since you already had thinning skin. But they should be able to make the two breasts look more even. Maybe by fat grafting?

Hopefully someone from Cleveland will post some names.
