Luminal b anyone

hi just found out I am luminal b. I am her 2 negative er 99% pr 30%. My mammaprint stated I am high risk at 29% chance of recurrence but endocrine therapy and chemo would bring it down to 5 percent so I guess that's decent Anyone else with a similar situation? Any words of encouragement would be great!

How did you find out you are Luminal B? Did you have a Prosigna Assay?

That’s me! Just learning all this myself.... I still don’t understand how Mammoprint is chosen over Oncotype. My oncologist gave me the exact percentages you stated and I have had one treatment of four.... I’m also under the impression I will also need radiation and hormone therapy. I was delayed with starting chemo due to surgical complications so I didn’t want to take the extra time to get a second opinion. I don’t feel very helpful to you but I’m in the same boat

found out from the mammaprint testing. They didn’t run the oncotype because it gives an intermediate score and only runs 21 genes compared to the 71 on mammaprint

You and I have somewhat similar diagnosis (not completely though). But I see that you started TC on 12/2. I started on 12/23. How you feeling? Are you doing 4 treatments?

I’m doing better than expected, have Faith today......every day Is different but it seems to follow pattern of first week days are terrible. Much more diarrhea this time, 2 Nd and 3 rd week much better. My biggest issue has been bone pain from the Neulasta....Excruciating. Nothing helps but OxyContin. My 3 rd treatment is Jan 13 and lastone on Feb 3.
