Weekly Taxol vs. DD

I am on the AC/T regime and my last AC is this week - yippee!

I've found quite a few people on the weekly taxol regime over dose dense. I know SE after somewhat different, but it seems to me, more people are choosing weekly taxol over DD despite being a whole month longer.

Could someone help me understand why you/your Onc made the decision to go with weekly taxol over dose dense? I'm struggling because I want to be done sooner, but I want to make sure that its the right choice and everything I've found says they are similar in terms of outcomes.

I also have to drive three hours round-trip for treatment, so DD is preferred.

Due to DX, I had no choice re DDchemos; 4AC DD immediately followed by 4DD Taxols. It took full 2 months to feel normal again after the 8 beatings. I honestly don't think wkly Taxols would have been shorter than 2 months. Like yourself, we had to drive to hospital which was 100 miles away. If I were you I would ask for DD see what you MO says.

Hi Vmb, my mo told me since I was tn, that dose dense was slightly better for me than the weekly, I'll have my third dose dense Dec 5th, almost done. I have had bone pain with the dose dense, I suppose with the weekly they have that too, but I don't know
