LDH as prognosis

I a posting this here, as I don't know where else. But this is of general interest: lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) may be used as a cancer marker to predict overall survival. This was known for other types of cancer for some time, but it was established recently for breast cancer.
"Prognostic significance of serum lactate dehydrogenase in patients with breast cancer: a meta-analysis" Link to 2019 paper.
