Hello,

I had a prophylactic double nipple sparing mastectomy with expanders six months ago. My exchange surgery has been postponed due to an unexpected, but pleasant surprise (pregnancy). I'm about five months along and the nipple of my left breast is beginning to leak a serous fluid (clear fluid with a yellowish tint). Nothing at all leaking from my right. During an appointment with my breast surgeon today, she confirmed that there was fluid directly under my upper left breast skin (and above the muscle and tissue expander - I chose to go under the muscle). There was also a small amount of fluid under my breast skin on the right side.

Has anyone else ever experienced a seroma(s) that developed months after your mastectomy
