Glove and Sleeve usage

I have been wearing the sleeve alone from 2004 - 2014 and since 2014 the glove and sleeve together. I use Juzo products. My hand became extremely swollen in 2014 and that is why I got a glove.

I notice that when I remove my garments my wrist has a deep indentation. This goes away eventually. I am wondering if anyone else has this problem. I know that you can get a custom purchase with glove and sleeve all in one piece but that would be very cumbersome to constantly remove for washing hands.

It seems to be that this indentation is blocking lymph from flowing. Does anyone have this situation?

I would appreciate hearing from my LE sisters who wear sleeve and glove.

Hugs,

I wear a sleeve & a gauntlet. Maybe your sleeve is too long? the compression on my sleeve tapering to the wrist fades to the two garments can over-lap without double pressure?

Sorry - it's only a guess. Maybe someone else will have more experience. Or maybe even call Juzo? Or you can contact a certified LE PT.

I have the same problem of indentations at the wrist. It is from the double compression of the glove over the arm sleeve. It goes away when I take my garments off in the evening. My lymphedema is in my arm and when I wore a gauntlet my hand would swell so I switched to the glove which is effective. The indentations are annoying but I have not found a better way to manage it. The therapist just says to try to avoid the overlap from wrinkling or bunching up so it is a smooth double layer. If the sleeve was shorter it would not go far enough up under my arm into my armpit which is where the main lymphedema problem is.
