Feeling overwhelmed

I had a bilateral mastectomy October '18 and I was put on antibiotics before and after. In January I had my expanders taken out and replaced with silicone implants. No antibiotics. I got a horrible infection and the decelurized dermal that was put it just fell apart and I was in the hospital a month later and had to have my left implant removed and replaced with a smaller important. The doctor said she would wait 1 year to do the exchange to even my breast out. Fast forward to Sept 2019 and my right breast suddenly started becoming firm. Two months later (now) I am looking at another surgery because of extreme capsular contraction scheduled in two weeks. First I am in pain, my right arm is becoming numb and my hand twitched causing me to drop almost everything like a clumsy toddler. Has anyone else had this? I am feeling exhausted from lack of sleep because the only way I can sleep is on my back at an incline (which I hate). Did you all have antibiotics for all your surgeries? Has anyone else have any of this happen. I am hitting the end of my rope with what to do. I am at one of the best centers in the Country in Boston and know I am getting good care. I'm just at a loss.

    mtilkens,

Did you ever get the issue resolved? I have capsular contracture on the right side and still have the tissue expander in since last October. Just had the left side off. Getting nervous because when I asked the Doctor he agreed it was capsular contracture and said it will probably sit higher than the left after my exchange surgery. I am also in the Boston area
