Swelling and pain

hey Ladies,

I am having swelling on lwft side up into my collarbone, under my arm and my arm seems to keep having fluid build up. I had a mass removed from cheat wall on july 2018 which was part fibroadenoma and phyllodes tumor. I had clean mammogram in july but have dense breasts. Ive also got a deformed areola which my husband thinks is because of the swelling. Anyone else ever have this issue? I do have pain off and on sometimes sharp sometimes burning.

My breast surgeon at Stephenson Cancer Center sent me for an mri wirh contrast on thursday before he has even seen the swelling. I am waiting on results. The imaging people let me see the screen. My right breast was lit up the nipple and ducts but lwft side was dark except for two little dots toward armpit. Wish i new more. Waiting is crazy hard. It may take longer because my last mri was years ago at another facility so they may be getting images to compare. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I don’t have anything to offer other than commiserating with you over how hard the wait is. I had a concerning ultrasound and am currently waiting for a diagnostic mammogram.Hoping all goes well with you. Keep us posted!
