I'm wondering what products people are using. Biotene mouth wash does nothing for my dry mouth. My mouth is dry, my throat is dry, my skin is dry, my eyes are super dry, "other" areas are dry. At the end of the month I feel like I've put $100 lubricating my parts and I'm not the tin man. If you have products that work please share! I'm feeling all dried up.

jump ship, when my eyes were really dry, my eye doc recommended an OTC eyegel (I’m sorry I don’t remember the name, but they are w the eye drops in drug store. They are in small tube not a bottle). Cetaphil helped w dry skin. It’s a pain trying to find products that help. Hopefully, others on the forum will have other suggestions. Good luck.

I had severe dry eyes after radiation. The eye doctor had me use Retainer MGD...they are single dose drops and $$$ but they helped tremendously. I had dry patches on my corneas, and used the drops I think 5-6 x a day at first. helped a lot. I still use it every other day, once daily in the winter

I typed a long post and for some reason it deleted it saying I deleted but I didn't???!!!

In a nutshell, I had severe dry eyes with dry patches on both corneas. Retaine MGD 5-6 x a day fixed it right up. Eye doctor told me to do that. I still use it once a day for maintenance.

Jumpship, Has your thyroid function been checked lately? My eye doctor said to take omega 3 fish oil and the dermatologist said to take vit E supplements. It took 3-4 weeks for them to work for me. My sister in law has Sjogren's syndrome. This causes her to have dry mouth, dry eyes, and dry skin. What has your PCP said?

A subject that is near and dear to my heart, because, I too, have been searching for solutions. Here's my list:

skin - Using CVS equivalent to Cetaphil body cream daily

eyes - Tried several (7) types of eye drops, including Retaine, with limited effect. Fish oil seems to be working, especially, supplemented with warm eye compresses and nighttime lubrication drops (Systane).

sinuses - Humidifier, saline sprays, saline rinse, Ayr saline gel

dehydration in general - I am currently aiming for 80 oz of liquid a day to combat some symptoms that seem to be related to dehydration (increased tinnitus and related headaches)

hair - limited my shampooing to 2x per week and switched to biotin and collagen shampoo and use weekly deep conditioner

Thanks all. Yes-on thyroid meds. Went through Tsa pre check this weekend and hoped that my eye drops wouldn’t get tossed because it put me over the 3oz.limit but in an airplane it is critical and I doubt the airport or the town I was visiting would have this brand. I think when I’m doing all that I should my lubrication monthly budget is $100

Hi, For your "other areas" that are dry, try coconut oil morning and night. It takes 2 or 3 weeks to work but works really well. Good luck
