I just started complete decongestive therapy and got my arm wrapped for the first time this morning. Now, it's only three hours later, but I'm already feeling really uncomfortable. I have throbbing pain at various points in my arm. My fingers are uncomfortable too and the tips looks slightly purple. I'm getting almost claustrophobic if that makes sense.

I'm freaking out a little because I have no idea how I'm gonna make it through two to three weeks of this. Does it get better? Do you get used to it? I would appreciate any tips you ladies have!

Melee - I don't have any experience with wrapping, but I hope you called your doc. Doesn't sound right that your fingers are turning purple. Sounds like the wrapping is too tight.

My husband told me I am overreacting about the purple fingers. They look OK now. But I did put a call into my PT since it's still really uncomfortable. I'm seeing her tomorrow morning so we'll see if I can make it til then!
