I will see MO this Wednesday, not sure when chemo will start. Seems there is no thread for November 2019, just ask here.

Hi, cathy67. I was searching for a November Chemo group as well. I get my port on Thursday and I start on Friday.

It looks like we were diagnosed a day apart...Feels like forever ago for me!

    Hi butterfly620,

Actually we shall receive the report on the same day, that is a Monday, however that is holiday in our province in Canada, so I got my report the next day.

I think you will do dd ACT, and you have port ready. Why you did armpit lymph node dissection? Usually SNB and then radiation and/or chemo.

Anyway, how about you just create a November chemo group?

    Hey, mac5! Good luck tomorrow!

Cathy67, my surgeon knew I was lymph node positive before the surgery from my biopsy. He wanted to take out what could be positive. My final pathology report showed lymphovasuclar space invasion as well as perineural invasion (LVI & PNI) and I had a high risk Mammaprint score.

I'll be doing DD-A/C and weekly Taxol. Port goes in in the morning, and chemo the next day!

    Butterfly620 and other ladies,

I just got my oncotype score today, it is 6 which means no absolute chemo benefit, so no chemo for me! I will start radiation and hormone therapy soon.

I found someone created another thread for November chemo group, you may join there: https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/69/topics/874180?page=1#idx_2

And I wish you all the best in this journey. I have studied a lot and lots of patients also shared a lot, it is no picnic however doable using today's technology.
