I am 43, I have had benign breast cysts drained three times in 3 years. I am awaiting a routine appointment for what is probably another cyst to be drained but this time I have a constant tingling feeling inside my left breast that reaches and tingles in my back. Anyone else experience that?

I should note that at my previous cyst draining just on the 25th July it was a bit problematic and extremely painful, in contrast to the first two times which had been completely pain free. In addition I am confirmed peri-menopausal, in early stages of menopause. From my readings and searches there are 3 possible reasons for the tingling:

1. It could be caused by hormonal fluctuations relating to the menopause.

2.It could be nerve damage from the cyst draining in July.

3. According to Livestrong.com constant tingling in the breast can be a rare form of breast cancer called Pagets disease.

Does anyone know anything about breast tingling causes

Has anyone experienced breast tingling?

Does anyone know anything about Pagets breast cancer?

It is causing a lot of anxiety because it is constant, including waking me up in the night several times and because it reaches deep into my back.

I am awaiting email confirmation for my request to join a menopause forum to ask on there too.

Thank you
