Hi All,

I am ER-, PR+ and HER2-. I have done the treatment and now need to move on. I want to collect stories such as survivor s, how treatment was done, how you manage to keep going after treatment etc.

I hope to see you all to fill in for this particular type of BC.

Hello. My primary and bone mets ar ER positive but I just found out my ILC metastasized to the colon and it is ER neg and mildly PR positive. My her2 status is indeterminate and Im waiting on a fish test for that. I had a pet scan that also showed new bone mets so Im not sure what they are. I am shocked that it changed to ER negative. I also cant find much info on treatment for ER neg and PR pos so if you have any info I would love to hear. And I will post back what my oncologist says. Thanks

I am in the same boat. Hard to find people with ER-/PR+/HER2- I too wish to learn more about real stories and it seems impossible. I start TC chemo today and will then have radiation still undecided about the hormone therapy after that. Here’s hoping more people with similar diagnosies come forward. All my best to you.

My original tumor in 1999 was considered ER+/PR+, but ER was only 5% while PR was 95%. Many recent studies have shown that breast cancer tumors where ER receptors are less than 10% act more like ER- tumors. I was stage 1B then, and had a lumpectomy, ALND, radiation, and Tamoxifen.

My current tumor is highly ER+ (95%) and PR+ (69%), HER2-. I had BMX, chemo, and am currently on Zoladex and Tamoxifen, but will switch to an AI once they get me into menopause.

    Tracy,

Sorryy to hear that you had recurrence. Wonder that tamoxifen didn't help to block. I was wondering these homonal therapies block estrogen and if it works for Progesterone. I looked for data but it was limited and not exactly said. I met some doctors and some said no and some said yes. I prefer to take side effects if the primary goal benefits to treat but it is not sure. It might create hormone imbalanced.

I had chemotherapy of 4 AC and 4 Taxol, then BMX. I had complete pathology response from chemo.

    Katej,

    Wishing you well soon.

Wishing you all healthy, happy New year from 2020 to beyond.

    Love, cutie

    Cutie,

I agree that there isn't much data on the effectiveness of Tamoxifen on PR+ only tumors. My new tumor is considered a new primary, and what's scary is that it's HIGHLY (95%) ER+ and Tamoxifen didn't even slow it down. My oncologist doesn't think Tamoxifen is effective for me which is why I'm now doing ovarian suppression and will be switching to an AI.
