Small foci in liver

Options

I am not sure if I'm posting in the correct place but I recently had a bone scan and a CT scan due to weight loss, generalized chest pain, strange hunger type pains, repeated fever with and without flu type symptoms, fatigue and just generally feeling unwell. The bone scan is clear of mets, as is the CT scan according to the report, however it mentions a 'few small foci in the liver parenchyma that cannot be characterized properly, some of which may be found in ultrasound. If these are based on cysts, it is most likely the smaller lesions are of cystic origin'. I only had access to the report after my appointment so was unable to query the findings directly but he appeared confident that there is no cause for concern, to refer back to my GP and he would call me in 3 months to see how I am doing. My question is to those of you that have been diagnosed with liver mets, does any of the above sound familiar? Should I be concerned that these smaller foci are the beginnings of a possible metastasis and asking for further testing/monitoring? Thanks in advance, Angie
