I’m newly dx with cancer in my bone marrow. Is there anyone in this group going through the same thing?

Trying not to feel alone in this.

Apologies for what’s about to be a bit disjointed. I’m on my phone from the rehab hospital.

i’ve had Mets, mostly bone, for coming on seven years now. But (making a long story short) they just found some Mets had displaced bone marrow cancer in my right femur. Result was excruciating pain if I moved my leg. Hoping you are not in that kind of pain.

The solution was to displace the tumor and stabilize the leg with a rod. What put me in this rehab hospital is I broke the other hip at the same time.

It sounded like in my case the lesions has moved in, as opposed to growing in the marrow itself.

OK long story. Welcome to our club! Only the best women get to belong. Have you started treatment yet? Do they need to do anything specific to support your marrow’s ability to work?
