Chemo for ER+/PG-/HER2+

Hi everyone,

I apologize in advance if there is a better way for me to figure this out. I tried searching and wasn't successful (but it could just be me doing something wrong).

I am having surgery in 2 weeks, and my MO told me to plan for chemo about a month later. She will share the more specific plan after getting the full pathology from my surgery. But in the meantime, my curiosity has gotten the better of me and I am wondering if anyone has any idea what kind of chemo regime I may have.

I have 4 masses in left breast (ranging in size from .4cm to 1.2 cm). Only 2 have been biopsied. One was ER+/PR-/HER2+ and the other was ER+/PR-/HER2-. Lymph node biopsy showed micromets that were ER+/PR-/HER2-. MO alluded to needing to do more "lengthy" chemo due to the difference in pathologies (and of course who knows what the other 2 will show).

Anyone with similar pathology willing to share what their course of chemo was? I realize everyone is different, but just looking for some comparisons at this point.

Thanks and have a great evening!

Might the "lengthy" be about the Herceptin? Not a chemo drug, but given to all HER2+ patients for a year (typically weekly for 12 weeks if you're doing Taxol, and then every three weeks for the rest of a year).
