Shallow breathing with tissue expanders

Hi everyone! I'm new here and what an incredible, resourceful community! Five weeks post op today from bilateral mastectomy. Silly question, but wondering if this is expander related or something else. Today I find myself having very shallow breaths while lying on my back. Almost as if my brain has forgotten to signal me to breathe! I don't have apnea; however maybe I do because I've never been a back sleeper. My TEs have moved lower and deeper nto my chest so wonder if that has something to do with it? I'm not short of breath walking around or sitting up, only the sensation of very shallow breathing as I attempt to nap. Dehydration perhaps? Anyone else experience anything like this? Have I done something to my expanders? Grateful for any info.
