Timing Lupron before chemo

Need advice about Lupron. Scheduled to start 4 rounds of Taxotere + Carboplatin next week, but haven't started Lupron because I wanted time to research it for myself. I read in a couple places that Lupron should be started at least two weeks before treatment, but the onc seems reluctant to delay treatment any longer (it has been 6 weeks since unilateral left mx).

I would feel more comfortable waiting an additional week before starting chemo, to give the Lupron more time to do it's thing, to give my ovaries time to shut down before the drugs start flowing. I can walk in anytime to get the first injection. Can anyone weigh in on this? At what point did you start Lupron prior to chemotherapy? Thanks!
