Hi ladies and gents!
Just sitting here bored out of mind after having my last phase of breast reconstruction completed. I can't sleep anymore, I can't watch tv anymore, and I'm going cross eyed from reading too much. But posting on here? Absolutely!!!

Wishing all of you a successful recovery, whether it be from surgery or treatment. This whole ordeal stinks, no doubt, but it's doable.

One question though.. the SCD pumps that my doc put on my legs for 2 days to prevent blood clots... are they supposed to squeeze your leg/calves simultaneously, or does the pump alternate legs every so often? I can't remember from my last revision.

Anywho, hats off to every woman going through this shitty process. Oh to feel normal again!! (And I know I will!)

The SCD stands for sequential compression devices. So they should alternate to increase blood return to the heart.
