BIRADS 3 - follow up was all good, but......

I had my first mammo post my diagnosis and treatment journey 6 months go. I got a BIRADs3 for 3mm suspicious calcifications at the spot of my lumpectomy. It's been a tense 6 months planning my funeral, but today was the follow up, and I got the thumbs up to move on to yearly screening mammos. (YAY. But my anxiety hasn't quite let up yet, as I was hoping it would).

ANYWAY, my question. Today the mammo was just for my affected breast. She said no need to come back for another year, but then it will be a year and a half for my UNaffected breast. Know what I mean? I asked, and she's like, Oh, yeah, I guess you need to come back in 6 months then. So hang on - I'm all good, but now my boobs are not on the same schedule so I still need to go in every 6 months? I can't be the first one in this situation??? For anyone who is in same boat, what did you do????

I don't have much to offer other than I've never had a mammo that didn't include both breasts. I'd tell her to write the order for both breasts in six months, and then you can move to the once annually schedule.
