Is it normal to feel tingling on some parts of the scalp when the hair is falling?

Yes, it drove me crazy after second Taxol infusion, and even before it started falling out, I asked my husband to shave my head. What a relief it was, so liberating!

Yep! Your scalp will feel much better once the hair has fallen out. Sorry...I know it sucks though.

Yup. First it itches. Then the hair that’s left is actually painful. I clippered my hair to about 1/8” at first. It was falling out with every rub over a sink. But it hurt. So I too had my husband shave my head. Now it’s infinitely better! I can rub my head without pain

Sure does! I used Spookies soft bristled brush on my scalp. Gently, felt good. She didn’t care, she didn’t like the brush.

the follicles are inflammed. It hurt so miserably for about 48 long hours after my 2nd A/C. It was so miserable and rough---big hugs.

So here is my wow now I think I get it moment. I think I am getting why many BC people don't like October. Sometimes I like to just take a little time in my day and not think about cancer. I like the occasional general thoughts about the weather, what bills I need to pay and what I'm going to make for dinner. These are nice moments, now this week---tis not October yet, but already BC awareness is creeping up everywhere I go. I don't need awareness---I'm very aware!!! It's like b/4 I got my biopsy back and every time I went to the gym at work whatever I was watching would have commercials for metatastic BC. Can't we just have some ads about Weight Watchers?
